Dog Lovers, Rejoice! New York City Is Getting Its Own Dog Museum

Dog lovers, listen up and listen good. If you live in New York, you're in luck – you won't have to travel far. If you live elsewhere, start planning your trip to the Big Apple to visit…the American Kennel Club Museum of the Dog.

The museum originally opened in 1982 in New York but moved to St. Louis, Missouri just five years later and stayed there for over three decades.

But now it’s back home in NYC and will open with a new exhibit called “For the Love of All Things Dog” on February 8.
